Sixteen members took part in the Jack Bayliss Cup 4-wood drawn pairs competition. Each pair played four games of 6 ends, scored using the 4-3-2-1 system.
Competition Secretary Clive Kimberley added some extra fun, awarding 10 points for each 'toucher' and imposing a -50 penalty for killing the end or running the jack into the ditch!
The overall competition was close, with Clive and partner Alan Harvey amassing a score of around 280 across their four games, about 10 or so ahead of the runners-up - Alan's other half Mitzi and her partner Quentin Smith.
